Do Not Fear! (1) Zechariah: An Encouragement for the Hurting

God didn’t create us to be fearful! Fear was not originally part of our make-up. Pre-Fall, our first-parents had dread of neither God nor life, for they knew neither separation from God, nor sickness, danger, or death. All was peace and love. Today, fear is evident everywhere!

And Zechariah was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
